Sedation

All of the dentists, hygienists and dental nurses at Bourne End Dental have excellent chairside manners and offer unhurried appointments taken at a pace you are comfortable with. We also offer intravenous sedation to help calm very nervous patients.

Intravenous sedation or conscious sedation is a safe and reliable method of controlling dental anxiety and phobia. The sedation is given through a small needle and it makes you feel relaxed and calm. You will remain conscious throughout your appointment. Many patients do not remember much of their procedure and treatment that may have taken an hour or more will seem to have taken less time.
