Andrew has been part of Bourne End Dental since 2005 and has the pleasure of treating many Families and Individuals from the region. Being heavily involved in training other dentists and team members throughout the country, Andrew has helped apply high standards to Bourne End Dental in terms of quality control, customer service and clinical standards.
Besides Family general dentistry, Andrew has followed a journey to progress to further qualifications, experience and training which form the basis of his special interests in dental cosmetics, composite resin bonding, complex rehabilitation including implants and management of tooth wear.
Working with eminent colleagues in various disciplines of dentistry Andrew creates smiles that not only look naturally outstanding but also function efficiently and comprehensively.
Having studied all around the world Andrew’s interests and skills have led to attaining a Distinction in a double Masters of Clinical Dentistry as well as two further academic diplomas. He is also a Graduate of the Kois Centre, based in Seattle – of which only a handful have attained this 9-step level of training within the UK.
Andrew also represents the profession and is Past- President for the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He is also a post-graduate tutor for Kings College London and sits on the editorial board of dental journals. He is also an educator to other dentists on a nationally and international level.
Andrew has a busy Family life with 3 daughters and lives locally in Henley on Thames. He is married to Denise who is also a Dentist at Bourne End Dental.

Stephen graduated from the University of Birmingham in 1996 with clinical distinction. He has since studied under the tutorage of some of the world’s most respected implantologists and prosthodontists including Dr Patrick Palacci at The Dawson Centre in the USA, along with Dr Pete Dawson and Dr John Cranham and at The Las Vegas Institute, with Dr William Dickerson.
Stephen has been placing dental implants at Bourne End Dental for over 15 years and has established a referral network with dentists from Buckinghamshire, Berkshire and Oxfordshire. He maintains strong links with Straumann UK, a well-established and trusted name within the industry and is held on their surgical list. Stephen welcomes referrals for implants and complex rehabilitation cases.
The emphasis at Bourne End Dental is in providing the highest standards of patient care within a multi-disciplinary specialist referral centre as well as providing dental care for all the family.
Stephen is a member of the BDA, The Association of Dental Implantologists, The International Team for Implantology and the British Society for the Study of Craniomandibular Disorders, as well as being an accredited dentist for providing the Inman Aligner.
Stephen is married to Katherine, who is also a dentist at Bourne End Dental, with a young family and is a keen sportsman having recently taken part in several triathlons in aid of local charities.

Morteza graduated from Bart’s and the London School of Dentistry, after which he completed his Foundation Training in the London Deanery. After working as a general dental practitioner, he pursued his interest in endodontics (root canal treatment) by completing his speciality training at the world-renowned Eastman Dental Institute in London. He subsequently passed membership in endodontics examinations for both the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and England.
His practice is limited to endodontics, accepting internal and external referrals for complex root canal treatment procedures, diagnosis of dental pain, dental trauma injuries as well as endodontic surgery.
Morteza has a calm and friendly approach, taking time to discuss treatment options, procedures and putting patients at ease.
Outside of dentistry, he is an avid sports fan, traveller and enjoy spending his time with friends and family.

Nikos qualified in dentistry from Athens University in 1992. He completed his 3-year training as a specialist and the MS degree in Periodontology in 1997 and his PhD degree in 2005 at the Royal Dental College, University of Aarhus, Denmark.
From 2005 – 2015 was a Senior Lecturer, Honorary Specialist and M.Clin.Dent programme co-ordinator in the Periodontology Unit, at UCL, Eastman Dental Institute.
In July 2015, he was appointed Senior Clinical Lecturer (Associate Professor level) & Consultant in the Centre for Adult Oral Health within Barts & The London School of Medicine & Dentistry, Queen Mary University of London. At the same time, he is Associate Periodontist in 4 private practices.
Nikos has published more than 60 papers in national and international peer-reviewed journals in the field of periodontal, bone regeneration and implant dentistry and he is an editorial board member in clinical oral implant research and reviewer for all the leading journals in periodontology and implant dentistry.
Nikos has extensively lectured nationally and internationally and in 2011 was awarded the Basic Research Prize of the European Association for Osseointegration. In March 2015 was appointed Education Delegate for the UK & Ireland ITI section.

Eleni graduated from the Dental School of Athens University in 1998 and she worked in private practice limited to paediatric dentistry for the two years following her graduation.
In 2000, Eleni completed, with merit, her MSc in Paediatric Dentistry at Leeds Dental Institute and won prizes for her research project on the cariogenicity of different types of chocolates. In the same year she became a Fellow of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Canada (Paediatric Dentistry).
Since her registration with the General Dental Council as a specialist in paediatric dentistry she has solely devoted her time to treating paediatric patients both within the community and private settings.
She currently works as a specialist paediatric dentist for the Community Dental Service where she exclusively provides dental care to children requiring advanced and complicated treatment, including those with complex medical history and those requiring treatment under sedation.
Eleni also worked as a Specialist Clinical Lecturer at the Department of Paediatric Dentistry at Kings and Guys Institute where she taught paediatric dentistry to 4th and 5th year dental students.
Eleni is an active member of the British Society of Paediatric Dentistry, the European Academy of Paediatric Dentistry and the International Association of Paediatric Dentistry.
Eleni is extremely passionate about her work as a paediatric dentist, acknowledging and knowing that traumatic dental experiences during the early years of a person’s life can influence and establish negative behaviours towards dentistry in general.
Eleni implements during her practice all those behaviour management techniques and methods to ensure that her little patients have treatment in a relaxed and positive way.
When Eleni is not practicing dentistry she enjoys spending time with her husband and their two boys and she loves reading, walking, travelling and cooking.
Denise Chandrapal

Denise qualified in 2001 from Birmingham University. Within this time Denise has developed her skills in general dentistry and in particular towards management of treatment of anxious patients, children and improving the dental health using advanced restorative techniques. Denise’s training has extended to the USA and UK under the tutorage of some of the most influential and talented clinical specialists in the world.
Denise has also gained a Law Degree specialising in medico-legal aspects as she holds the values and ethics of the profession in the highest regard. The needs of her patients remains to be the highest priority and a combination of extensive training above and beyond the basics alongside varied clinical experience is what makes Denise an approachable and talented dentist who never stops short of doing her very best.
Outside of dentistry Denise loves spending time with her husband Andrew and beautiful daughters Amelie, Madeleine and Elsie. She also enjoys Cooking, keeping fit and travelling.
Simon Buxton

Originally from Cheshire, Simon graduated as a dentist from the University of Birmingham in 2004. After working in general practice Simon became a vocational trainer to mentor new dentists and completed the Diploma of Membership of the Joint Faculties at The Royal College of Surgeons England.
Simon has attended courses and lectures in aesthetic and implant dentistry fields and recently completed a dental implant course in Bath and a six month, hands on advanced dentistry course with Dr Basil Mizrahi, a well-respected Harley Street specialist.
Simon provides a full range of general dental care for his patients, but his areas of special interest include crown and bridgework and aesthetic dentistry. He enjoys making dentistry a pleasant experience, especially for nervous patients.
Aside from work, Simon spends his time with his daughters Molly and Willow and partner, Portia. His passions are travelling and triathlon and he has recently completed his first ironman and is hoping to one day race at Kona in Hawaii.
Grace Kelly

Grace graduated from Queens University, Belfast, Northern Ireland in 2010, since then she has gained valuable experience in all aspects of general dentistry while working in the UK and Australia.
Grace is passionate about providing a high standard of care and treatment in all aspects of dentistry. She aims to make every patient’s dental experience as comfortable as possible and achieves this through her gentle care and ability to quickly put even the most anxious patients at ease.
She strongly believes in continuing education so that she can offer all her patients the best range and quality of dental care possible. She has participated in a number of advanced dental training courses and gained further certifications in Invisalign for straightening teeth, prosthetics to restore implants with crown and bridgework, and CAD CAM Cerec software training for milling single visit crowns and bridgework.
Grace also has a keen interest in facial aesthetics and has completed advanced courses and achieved certifications in the use of anti-wrinkle injections and dermal fillers. Having worked alongside and been mentored by a number of well-respected practitioners she has gained valuable knowledge and experience in cosmetic dentistry cases and smile design. Grace also welcomes referrals for facial aesthetics.
During her time traveling and working in Australia, Grace had the unique experience of working with people of many different cultures and backgrounds and draws on all these experiences to help her connect with and relate to people on many levels.
Outside of work Grace has a passion for travel, fashion, food, health and fitness. She enjoys yoga, playing hockey and tennis socially and loves to cook healthy cuisine. Grace is married with a young son, Niall.
Georgina Peck

Georgina studied at the University of Liverpool/Uclan Graduate Dental School in the North West. She was awarded a prize for ‘Best contribution towards the Dental School.’ Georgina then completed her vocational training in London and has since worked in multiple mixed dental practices and hospital settings.
Georgina is Invisalign trained and enjoys transforming patients smiles with the world leader’s clear aligner treatment. She also has an interest in oral surgery and works at the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department at Barnet Hospital.
Georgina has a warm, friendly manner and is popular with anxious patients and those with needle phobia.
When Georgina is not practicing Dentistry she enjoys spending time with her husband and their three young children. She also enjoys keeping fit and regularly participates in Parkrun.
Andrew Powell

Andrew qualified from the University of Birmingham in 2004, graduating with a clinical distinction. He has achieved several awards, including the BDA prize in restorative dentistry, orthodontics, paediatric dentistry and the ‘Conservation’ prize.
After completing a vocational training year, he worked at private practices in Warwick and Cheltenham. His focus is to continue to develop skills in restorative, aesthetic and adhesive dentistry. He especially enjoys endodontic treatment. Andrew has keenly attended courses and lectures in these fields, most recently completing a six-month hands-on Advanced Aesthetic Dentistry course with Dr Mizrahi, a well-respected Harley Street specialist.
Andrew places a high emphasis on educating his patients about their dental problems and involving them as much as possible in the decision process, to help them make informed choices regarding their treatment.
Aside from work he is a keen sportsman, regularly playing football and racquet sports. He enjoys cooking, photography, Muay Thai boxing and snowboarding. Andrew is married with two young daughters.
Katherine Rees

Katherine qualified from Birmingham University in 1998. She returned to Birmingham Dental Hospital as a tutor to undergraduate dentists. She has subsequently undertaken further training in advanced dental surgery with Paul Tipton, extensively studying the most recent developments and advances in dentistry. After three years working in the Midlands in an implant practice Katherine moved to the South East. Katherine is currently studying for a qualification in aesthetic dentistry with the Central England Specialist Team. She enjoys all aspects of general practice and has a special interest in aesthetic dentistry and facial aesthetics.
Katherine is married to principal dentist Stephen Rees and spends her spare time with her three children and running.

Leanne qualified as both a Hygienist and Therapist from Cardiff Dental University is 2001. This means she has a range of skills that your dentist may utilise, such as tooth cleaning, fillings, X-rays, extractions on children and much more.
She has a special interest in treating nervous and phobic patients and if this is the case she would love to meet you and together you can work out a treatment plan that you are comfortable with.
She also loves treating children and since having three of her own feels that she has more than enough experience!
Leanne lives in Windsor with her husband and daughters. She has recently decided to add to her already busy household by getting a dog. Her name is Wookie and she is a Yorkshire Terrier with a big personality!
Apart from puppy training and spending time with her family Leanne enjoys long walks, reading and plays an active part in her local rowing club, Eton Excelsior.

She loves the variety of each day, dental cases and patients, Being chair side, making patients feel special is the best feeling in the world.
Outside of work she enjoys travelling and keeping fit and healthy. She is always up for accepting new challenges and developing her skillset further.
Amber Malik

Before joining Bourne End Dental Practice as a Trainee Dental Nurse in August 2022, Amber attended Brunel University London, gaining her degree in Biomedical Sciences where she has a keen interest in how the human body runs on complex internal processes, with cells and organs functioning in incredible ways to make us who we are.
Amber gained over five years of customer experience in retail before setting her sights on dentistry, attracted by the science of the industry and the prospect of continuing to learn about more advanced treatments over time.
For Amber, the most rewarding aspect of her role today is seeing the positive impact dentistry can have on someone’s life – particularly where self-conscious patients have their confidence restored by restorative treatments
Amber lives at home with her mum, dad, and two brothers. She enjoys traveling around the world, long walks in the countryside, and socializing with friends and family!
Louise Keenan
Louise joined Bourne End Dental in 2014 and has proved herself to be an invaluable and fun member of our administrative team. Louise participates in all joint continuous professional development and like all of our team is trained in medical emergencies and is also one of our fire marshals.

Lisa joined the team in December 2022. Lisa has a wealth of customer service experience from a previous dental practice. Lisa is a wonderful addition to the team and looks forward to meeting you all.
