Our Staff
- Practice Manager - Penny Lovejoy R.D.N, Cert.DPM LCGI
Penny has had more than 25 years experience in dentistry, both as a receptionist and dental nurse, and for the last 10 years as our practice manager and therefore has extensive experience in ensuring that the practice is run efficiently, with the emphasis on patient care. She is always available to assist you with any questions you may have about the practice or to discuss any financial aspects of your dental care. Pennys helpful and friendly disposition will ensure that your visit to the practice is comfortable and stress free.
- Dental Nurse - Alison Mahon R.D.N Cert.Dent.Rad
Alison has worked as a dental nurse for the last 24years and has been at our practice for the last 2 years. She qualified in 2001 before gaining her Certificate in Dental Radiography in 2004.
Alison has also attained certification from the world renowned Aesthetic Advantage Group in cosmetic dental nursing.
- Dental Nurse - Kerri Brooks R.D.N Cert.Dent.Rad
Kerri has been a dental nurse for 7 years and has been with the practice since 2001. She qualified in 2002 and holds further certification in both dental radiography and implant nursing. Kerri has also attained certification from the world renowned Aesthetic Advantage Group in cosmetic dental nursing.
- Dental Nurse - Tina Knight R.D.N Cert.Dent.Rad
Tina has been dental nursing for the last 11 years, qualifying in 1998. She joined us 7 years ago and after a short break to have a baby returned to us on a part time basis last year. Tina has achieved additional certification in dental radiography, implant nursing and from the world renowned Aesthetic Advantage Group in cosmetic nursing.
- Dental Nurse - Cara Bonaventura
Cara has been with the practice for more than 4 years and originally hails from Australia where she started her career. Cara has experience both in the surgery and working on reception and is a valued member of our team.
- Dental Nurse - Deborah Grant R.D.N Cert.Dent.Rad
Deborah started dental nursing in 1976 working for her father, a local dentist, and qualified in 1978. Deborah joined our practice after her fathers retirement in 1996 and achieved her dental radiography qualification this year.
- Katy Gale R.D.N
We are delighted to welcome Katy back to the practice after a 5 year sabbatical raising her young family. Katy is a very experienced nurse and will be assisting both Graham Goodall and our specialist endodontist in her new role.
- Lucie Moys
Lucie has joined us as a trainee dental nurse. As well as studying Health and Social Care at The Berkshire College of Agriculture at Burchetts Green she will soon undertake the dental nursing course at Amersham College leading to the Dental Nursing National Certificate. Lucie has fitted in well with our existing team and has already proved to be a keen and enthusiastic staff member.
- Reception Staff - Carol Samuels
Carol started with us in 2001 and is now an indispensable member of the reception team. She is also familiar with most insurance forms and will be happy to help complete them for you.
- Reception Staff - Linda Bonaventura
Linda has recently joined our practice but comes with a wealth of experience as a dental receptionist and as a dental nurse, working in both orthodontic and general practice.
- Hygienist - Lisa Mitchell E.D.H.
Lisa qualified in 1995 as an enrolled dental hygienist for Guys Dental Hospital in London. She has been a hygienist at our practice for the last 10 years and actively pursues continuous professional development.
- Hygienist - Susan Cruickshank R.D.H
Susan has recently joined our practice and qualified at the Eastman Dental Institute in London. Susan lives locally and is looking forward to becoming an active member of our team.
- Hygienist - Katrin Brunning EDH
Karin qualified as a dental hygienist from RAF Halton in 1981. She has worked in all aspects of dentistry over the intervening years. She first started working with Bourne End Dental in 1987 and has recently returned to join our team. Katrin has been an active member of the BSDHT, having been regional secretary until September 2009. Through these contacts she maintains a high level of continuous professional development.
