Andrew qualified from Birmingham University and rapidly progressed to achieve further qualifications and training which form the basis of his special interests, namely dental cosmetics, bonding and management of wear. He has participated in a number of advanced continuing education courses both within USA, UK and has spent time with a number of the world’s best clinicians in the art of aesthetics and smile design.
Andrew’s belief is that the key to satisfying the increasing needs and expectations of his patients is through continuing education with authorities from across the globes that are at the forefront of their discipline. He is one of the very first UK certified Inman Aligner practitioners that enables front teeth to be moved easily and safely in a fraction of the time of conventional braces. He is also a fully qualified Invisalign practitioner which is a procedure that straightens teeth without using “train track” braces.
Currently, Andrew is studying to receive his Masters in Clinical Dentistry (MClinDent) in prosthodontics.
Andrew is a fully registered member of the General Dental Council, a long standing member of the American Association of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), the British Association of Cosmetic Dentistry (BACD), The Pankey Institute - a world renowned association that trains dentists in the art of treating tooth wear and grinding habits as well as cosmetic dentistry, the International Team for Implantology (ITI) and the Association of Dental Implantology (ADI). He has recently been invited into the British Society of Occlusal Studies (BSOS) of which requires high levels of training to be admitted.
Andrew sits on the BACD public relations media committee, is a media representative for the British Dental Association and is on the editorial board for a national dental journal as a clinical advisor.
