Rahul Goria graduated from the University of Manchester in 1998, being awarded the Frank Sutcliffe Memorial Prize in Dentistry. After completing his vocational training he worked as a senior house officer in the department of orthodontics and oral and maxillofacial surgery at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Kings Lynn. During this time Rahul obtained his Membership in the Faculty of Dental Surgery from The Royal College of Surgeons of England.
Following a period in general practice Rahul undertook his specialist training in endodontics at The Eastman Dental Institute. During this time he was awarded the Dentsply Maillefer Endodontic Prize for the highest clinical and academic achievement. Rahul obtained his memebership in Restorative Dentistry (Endodontics) from The Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2005 and went on to be registered as "Specialist in Endodontics" with the General Denatl Council.
Rahul is also a visiting lecturer for the endodontic teaching team, Department of Eastman CPD & part time clinical instructor in the department of endodontics at The Eastman Dental Hospital.
Rahul's services include the management of patients requiring endodontic treatment as well as the management of dento-alveolar trauma & the differential diagnosis of oro-facial pain. He is also available to discuss any management and treatment options with you.
Mr Theodossy graduated in 1997. He then gained a Masters degree in Oral and Maxillofacial (face and jaw) surgery from the world renowned Eastman Dental Institute. He also gained his membership from the Faculty of Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Postgraduate training in maxillofacial surgery was carried out at University College London Hospitals. His expertise include all aspects of oral surgery as well as implantology. He is a member of the British Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and has published extensively in British as well as International journals.
Dr Belur graduated from the University of Bangalore and then embarked on a three year orthodontist training, gaining his Masters Degree and Fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons. He is on the specialist list for orthodontics and surgical dentistry and holds B.D.S, M.D.S (Orthodontics) and F.D.S.R.C.S qualifications. He is also a member of the British Orthodontic Society and the Americal Association of Orthodontics. Dr Belur has been working at our practice as part of the Dentalign group of orthodontists for more than two years.
Dr Nikos Mardas qualified in dentistry from the University of Athens, Greece in 1992 and he completed his three year training as a specialist in Periodontology at the Royal Dental College, University of Aarthus, Denmark in 1997. At the same time he completed his Master of Science Degree in Periodontolgy. From September 1997 until August 2000 he was an academic staff memeber at the Royal Dental College, Department of Periodontology, University of Aarhus, Denmark. In May 2005 he received his PhD degree from the same university following an opening to the public defence.
From September 2000 to March 2005 he was working as a Periodontist in his own private practice limited to Periodontics and Implant dentistry in Athens, Greece, whilst at the same time he was consultant periodontist in two other private practices. He is an active member of the Hellenic and British Periodontal Society, The European Federation of Periodontology, the European Association of Osseointegration and the Internal Team for Implantology. He has published a significant number of scientific papaers in both national and international peer-reviewed journals.
In 2005 Dr Mardas joined The Eastman Dental Institute(UCL) as Clinical Lecturer in Periodontology.
Dr Mardas has expertise on non-surgical and surgical treatment of periodontal disease including conventional and regerative periodontal surgery, periodontal plastic surgery, alveolar bone augmentation procedures and dental implants.
